The Bury & Manchester Men’s Padel Team is a dedicated group of players who share a love for the game and a drive for excellence. Based in Greater Manchester, we compete in local leagues, national competitions, and international tournaments across Europe. Our goal is to grow the sport, support our players, and showcase the best of British padel on a global stage.

Adam "Ricky" Richardson – The Architect of Victory
What he lacks in height, he makes up for in strategy. As captain, Ricky builds winning plays as precisely as he designs buildings. With a golden tan and a sharp padel mind, he’s always laying the foundation for another victory.
Ian Richardson – The Captain’s Captain
As Adam Richardson’s dad and the team’s most seasoned player, Ian brings wisdom, experience, and a love of the game. When he’s not navigating boats, he’s navigating rallies, proving that age is just a number when it comes to skill.
Adam Cheshire – The Padel Powerhouse
When he’s not lifting weights, he’s lifting trophies. A gym fanatic with a smash that could shake the court, Adam is all about strength, endurance, and overpowering his opponents.
Dan Carrol – The Fashion Forward Forehand
From crunching numbers to curating Instagram-worthy looks, Dan serves style both on and off the court. His footwork is as sharp as his fashion sense—flawless and on point.
Dec Brown – The Endurance Expert
Whether he’s pedaling up hills or sprinting down the court, Dec’s stamina is unmatched. He never runs out of breath—or out of ways to chase down impossible shots.
John Blezard – The Human Blizzard
Cold, calculated, and unstoppable. John brings a storm to every match. With ice-cool composure and a whirlwind of shots, he leaves opponents frozen in their tracks.
Dale M – The Enigma
Mysterious, unpredictable, and always full of surprises. No one knows where he came from, but one thing’s for sure—Dale’s padel skills speak for themselves.
PD – The Ride and Rally King
Need a lift to the match? PD’s got you covered. The team’s go-to taxi organiser and all-around nice guy, he keeps everyone moving—both on the road and on the court. With a smooth playing style and a knack for setting up the perfect shot, he’s the ultimate assist man.
Emilio Mancini – The Italian Maestro
With the finesse of a lawyer and the flair of an Italian chef, Emilio slices through the competition like a perfectly baked pizza. His spin shots? A work of art, just like his Napoli-style serves.
Jake Taylor – The Rock & Roller
